no, im not pregnant

So last week, I got asked, for about the 100th time, if I'm pregnant, this time by my boss. so not cool. i dont think ive ever really had a problem with my weight, i always had meat on my bones when i was in school and during varsity and over the last 5 years or so i managed to have my body where i wanted it to be. and the drugs didnt hurt along the way either. but since i moved to Cyprus about 15 months ago, i started eating and seeing food in a way ive never seen it before. darin also likes to eat. alot. and he's half dutch and they eat everything with a pound of sugar and mayonnaise. so in these last 15 months, i have put on... wait for it... 12 KGS and my once flat stomach has now become a bakers dozen.

i cant say i didnt enjoy the chocolates, the bread, the potatoes and the crepes (oh the crepes...) but i think enough might be enough now. and plus summer is around the corner and i will not go through another summer shying away from the beach and my bikini. so im trying to do everything i can to get myself into shape. i have even started drinking a fibre tea (which is doing wonders for my bowel movements. tmi?) and on the weekend i went and bought a charger, headphones and a nifty arm-band-thing for my ipod to help my exercising become a bit more bearable.

that was on saturday and today is thursday and i can finally say that i have officially completed Day 1 of Operation-Get-Angie-Into-A-Bikini! yay. i hate exercise and ive never understood those people who said they enjoy it and they cant go one day without exercising blah blah blah.but unfortunately that is the only option left for me so i just have to get through it.

and if that isnt enough to get me through all this, i found all these cool sites to help me get motivated. i joined all of them just to be safe.
