no, im not pregnant
So last week, I got asked, for about the 100th time, if I'm pregnant, this time by my boss. so not cool. i dont think ive ever really had a problem with my weight, i always had meat on my bones when i was in school and during varsity and over the last 5 years or so i managed to have my body where i wanted it to be. and the drugs didnt hurt along the way either. but since i moved to Cyprus about 15 months ago, i started eating and seeing food in a way ive never seen it before. darin also likes to eat. alot. and he's half dutch and they eat everything with a pound of sugar and mayonnaise. so in these last 15 months, i have put on... wait for it... 12 KGS and my once flat stomach has now become a bakers dozen.
that was on saturday and today is thursday and i can finally say that i have officially completed Day 1 of Operation-Get-Angie-Into-A-Bikini! yay. i hate exercise and ive never understood those people who said they enjoy it and they cant go one day without exercising blah blah blah.but unfortunately that is the only option left for me so i just have to get through it.
and if that isnt enough to get me through all this, i found all these cool sites to help me get motivated. i joined all of them just to be safe.

stumbling...
lately i havent had much to do at work so ive been trying to find stuff on the internet to keep me busy and entertained. i love stumbleupon.com, you can always find weird and wonderful things on there and today i found these awesome photos/quotes/sayings from a site called pinterest.com.
arent they lovely? some of them hit the nail right on my head.

i heart music
things are finally restored. music is back in my life like it should be.when i was in school i always remember being in my room with the music up loud listening by the radio when they had chart shows. id buy cds (back then) and take out the insert and listen to each song while reading and singing the lyrics. thats how i always made my funky mix tapes - they were famous. those were good times. now i buy cds and i barely get past the first few songs.
i sidetracked.
so finally, i remembered last week that i actually have an ipod and that it is a good thing to use/have. i should always be listening to music. and this was all in aid of my summer fit challenge that i have set myself. (which ill elaborate on somewhere else.) i wracked my brain for all the motivation i would need to complete this challenge and who knew that all it took was a new charger and a new set of earphones (the latter which turned about to crap, so i had to revert to the blackberry headphones-which i should have just done before).
and now, ive obviously updated this ipod of mine, which i have, oh-so-brilliantly. i downloaded so many songs and albums, some of which i havent heard before so hopefully this will get me to stop thinking about the pain my body is going through and i can stay up-to-date with the cool kids. point and score.
the other day we downloaded the chris brown cd and darin was driving in the car listening to it and he called me to tell me to listen to one of the songs, and it gave me goosebumps. i dont care if its corny, it was a beautiful song. you should listen to it. Chris Brown ft. Justin Bieber - Next to you.
and no comments on who's singing.

amsterdam
we just got back from amsterdam. last night actually. what a beautiful city, if i had some actual photos of the city i'd put them up but unfortunately our camera died just as soon as we arrived which i'm really upset about. the are some of the nice ones i could find.
there were so many things that i wished i could've taken photos of - the city was so bustling, everyone is constantly moving, always somewhere to go or be, living their own lives and it is just so amazing to observe.the red light district takes a while to get used to, having different women in all the windows. i even went to a peep show-ultra cheesy.
anne franks house was a bit of a letdown-most of the house has been restored, it was still touching to be there but it doesnt feel authentic inside. we also did the heineken experience, the video we made is floating somewhere online. im trying to add it to this post.
AND i managed to buy one item of clothing! it was the only money my dear husband allowed me to spend

rusty
i really like russel brand. last night we watched 'get him to the greek', ive seen it before but i didnt mind watching again cos russel brand is cool. i just finished reading his second autobiography 'my booky wook 2', i read the first one and even had to order the second one online. i can admit i have a love for english things, especially the english accent, but rusty deserves to be up there too.
